The hotel is very conveniently located near the Northern Bavarian Ski School. This offers 3 drag lifts, 2 of which are floodlit and one which has an artificial snow machine and marked cross-country ski runs. Within a 15-minute walk you can reach the chair lift to the Ochsenkopf (Ox’s head) mountain, the summer toboggan run and the heated open-air swimming pool. The hotel is also conveniently located for anyone travelling to the festivals in Bayreuth or Wunsiedel, or indeed making day-trips to Thuringia, Saxony or the Czech Republic.
